Haiti Sustainable and inclusive growth
December 2018
March 2021

This 27-month project aims to improve the resilience and food and nutritional security of the populations of Anse d’Hainault and Les Irois municipalities (Grand’Anse, Haiti). To this end, it will support the agricultural and fisheries sectors by working on value chains and building the capacity of 4 farmers’ and fishermen’s groups. In addition, 400 vulnerable households will benefit from support for income-generating activities and the strengthening of village savings and credit associations (AVEC). The project will also allow the institutional strengthening of decentralized technical structures of the State in the food security and nutrition sectors. Finally, the Consortium will work to improve nutritional security by supporting severely malnourished children and strengthening prevention, and by promoting the use of moringa among 2,000 households.
