Technical Vocational Skill Training and Micro-enterprise Development for Myanmar Refugees in Thailand

This 1-year project aims at supporting Myanmar refugee populations in Thailand to develop income-generating activities by building their skills through vocational training. In this aim, (1) the vocational skills and employability of 600 refugees will be increased through VT and internship placements (for 40 only) in line with Thai and Myanmar standards and in job sectors that address Myanmar labour market needs; and (2) 100 refugees, and especially VT graduates, will be supported to engage in livelihood activities and increase incomes through support for the development of micro-enterprises that can be operated in the camp context and replicated in a return setting.
