Support to Pastoral and Agro-Pastoral Communities affected by the La Niña Phenomenon

The La Niña Phenomenon has an important effect on the health conditions of the livestock in the region of East Pokot. To help beneficiaries counter the effects of the droughts, ACTED launched a 6-month program aimed at improving livestock health with the provision of veterinary services. Overall, 57 livestock breeders will be trained, equipped and organized in farmer groups allowing at least 60,000 persons to benefit from enhanced and harmonized access to animal healthcare.
