Support to livelihood recovery of vulnerable households in Abidjan neighborhoods strongly affected by the Ivorian crisis

Abidjan has been through important food and non food item shortages (notably in medicine and medical equipment), as well as a security crisis and numerous pillages in the Abobo and Yopougon communes, that were ridden with fighting and massive displacement. This 8-month emergency project is aimed at 3,000 highly vulnerable households (about 34,500 total individuals), through cash transfers for recovering an income-generating activity, with strong community involvement.
