Support to Labutta Township vulnerable populations’ food and nutrition needs

Despite significant progress in the post-Nargis 2008 reconstruction process, some households are still facing severe food and nutrition insecurity. The project’s objectif is to ensure sufficient food quantities are made available for 500 households, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and children under the age of 5 in particular. A total of 846 women and children in groups identified as non-land owning farmers, small farmers, households led by women and short and longterm marginal homes in the 25 villages of Labutta Township in the Ayeyarwaddy are concerned by the project.
