Sri Lanka: Preschool selected by the community receives greatly needed items
MULLAITIVU [ACTED News] – A quick-impact project (QIP), which is identified by the local community as a priority area of need, is designed to build community confidence and encourage participation in the long-term goals of the project by showing a difference on a smaller scale in a brief time period.
In the village of Mullaitivu in Sri Lanka, preschool in Thijokunagar, with more than 50 students, received books, desks, chairs, and playtime toys from a quick-impact project part of a recently started project in the northern district of Mullaitivu that facilitates economic growth through community-led efforts, funded by EuropeAid.
