Slideshow - 6,000 shelters built in Sindh
KANDH KOT (ACTED News) - Part of its flood response intervention in northern Sindh province, Pakistan, ACTED has built over 6,000 shelters for people left with nothing. Using locally appropriate materials, these shelters are built with principles of disaster risk reduction, thus preparing the houses with the necessary level of defense against earthquakes and floods.
