Response to the needs of Congolese refugees of Zemio in the Wash sector
The main objective of this 4-month project is to best fulfill the needs in potable water of the Congolese refugees in Zemio. 5 watering places (4 closed wells and one source with tank) will be built through Cash for Work or Food programmes. The water points will be designed to prevent the contamination of water and to ensure the security of the beneficiaries. Water management committees will be set up to guarantee the sustainability of the infrastructure. The 2,800 refugees living in Zemio will also benefit from hygiene and sanitation promotion campaigns.
