Provision of first and second line child protection services to highly-at-risk populations in Ninewa governorate

This 6 month project (July – December 2017), aims at providing a first and second-line child protection response in newly retaken areas in Ninewa, both in and out of camps. Through 3 mobile CFS/YFS, 3,750 children and youth, belonging to the IDPs, returnees and host communities, will receive psychosocial support -through recreational and non-formal education activities- and case management. Awareness-raising activities will also be organized, and 24 community-based child protection structures (12 parents’ group and 12 youth group) will be established or supported. As a result, the psychosocial wellbeing and the resilience of 3,750 conflict-affected children and their families will be enhanced.
