Providing assistance to schools in Baghlan in necessary repairs and renovations

This five-month project aims at assisting three schools in Baghlan, Northern Afghanistan, with the provision of much needed repairs and furniture. The project will contribute to improving the public services available to the inhabitants of four villages in Baghlan through the provision of 120 man days of Cash-for-Work (CFW) and the improvement of access to education through the rehabilitation and repair of three schools in Baghlan. 1,333 children and 58 education staff will benefit from improved school facilities through the provision of furniture and/or construction works. 1,545 persons will benefit from this GTZ-funded project.
