Pansons le Monde: NGOs and local authorities gather for increased access to health
PARIS [ACTED News] – 380 people were mobilized for better access to health in developing countries, namely in Sub-Saharan Africa, on the occasion of the first edition of the Pansons le Monde Forum on 25 January in Paris. Organized by ACTED, Convergences 2015 and French NGO network Cités Unies France, in partnership with medical-focused NGOs Santé Sud and ALIMA, the day brought together 42 speakers who made recommendations for funding, partnerships and actions for all international relief stakeholders – NGOs, local authorities involved in charity programs and civil society organizations. Pansons le Monde was set up to build bridges between the different organizations by linking expertise to experience on matters regarding access to health. A second edition of the Forum is to take place in 2013.
