For over 10 days, ACTED teams have been distributing food rations to over 50,000 people in the valley of Swat. Each family receives enough flour to fulfill their needs for one month. ACTED also implements Cash for Work programmes to rehabilitate access roads which have been washed out by the floods, thus enabling access to remote village which had been isolated since the beginning of the crisis.
