NGO and Humanitarian Reform Project II (NHRP II), START UP

The NGO and Humanitarian Reform Project focuses on the improvement of humanitarian coordination in Somalia, Ethiopia, Cote d’Ivoire, Zimbabwe and Libya, where ACTED has the lead. Over a four-month period, the focus will be to enhance NGO representation, participation and leadership in humanitarian reform and other coordination forums for improved performance in the five target countries. The aim being to improve the response to humanitarian needs in these countries, ACTED will conduct an assessment of operations led in Libya in 2011 and produce reports of lessons learnt, to be disseminated at country level to 20 to 30 agencies, and to feed the wider humanitarian reform.
