ACTED (Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development), implementing the project “Enhancing resilience and promoting local governance in Northern Syria” under CDC funding is inviting suppliers of services to submit offers for the award of a training contract:
The training is aimed at providing short-term inputs to augment the expertise of the LACU (Local Administrative Councils Unit) and ACTED teams in local governance, including capacity support to LCs (Local Councils) and similar entities.
Therefore, ACTED invites individual trainers or consultancy firms to submit applications for the training aimed at following deliverables
Deliverable 1: Build tailored training and mentoring plan for LCs based on LACU’s Roles and Responsibilities training package
Deliverable 2: Design and oversee particular and trainings that address core changes in development
Deliverable 3: Training will be based on Roles and Responsibilities principles and be provided to selected Local Council members over a 5-day period.
Deliverable 4: Educate and train enumerators that will administer the Roles and Responsibilities training program that Advisor will help create
Deliverable 5: Support the Program Manager in monitoring the training process and the results of these trainings
Deliverable 6: Report on Roles and Responsibilities training.
The tender will be conducted using ACTED standard bidding documents, open to all qualified service providers. The Bidding Documents (in English) may be collected free of charge by all interested bidders at the following address:

Potential bidders are encouraged to consult the ACTED website regularly for potential modification to the present tender and/or the bidding documents.
- A pre-tender information session will be organized on 20/02/2017 at 14:00 local time in ACTED representative office in Sukru Kanatli mah.Genclik cad. Ustun apt. No:10, Antakya, Hatay, Turkey. Participation of interested bidders to the information session is preferable but not compulsory.
All bids must be submitted before on 01/03/2017 at 17:00 local time at the address mentioned above in a sealed envelope or by E-mail email@example.com. Late Bids will be automatically rejected.
ACTED will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by the Bidders in connection with the preparation and submission of their bids to ACTED.
A tender opening session will take place on 02/03/2017 at 11:00 local time in the ACTED representative office in Sukru Kanatli mah.Genclik cad. Ustun apt. No:10, Antakya, Hatay, Turkey.
