Integrated humanitarian assistance to the populations affected by the complex emergency in Pakistan

In light of the complex emergency in FATA and large-scale displacement of people to Khyber Pukhtunkhuwa province in Pakistan, this project aims to provide WASH and Food, Security and Livelihood assistance to these Temporarily Displaced Persons and Host Communities. Over the course of one year, ACTED and its partners aim to assist 53,700 individuals by engaging male workers in Cash for Work (CFW) activities to rehabilitate water supply sources in order to ensure access to clean drinking water for the community and providing financial support to extremely vulnerable individuals through Conditional Cash Grants (CCGs) to help them meet their immediate needs, conditional on recipients attending health and hygiene training sessions to improve their hygiene and nutrition practices.
