Fun and games at the beach for Gaza war children

Over the past two weeks, Gaza beaches have come to life with playing and singing children, as ACTED organized nine beach outings for 643 kindergarten children, plus their siblings and mothers, who still bear the mental and physical scars of war. The children enjoyed songs, games, swimming and a packed lunch under the supervision of volunteers, while mothers had a rare break from the difficulties of home life. The outings form part of a psycho-social support project run by ACTED in nine Gaza kindergartens, with the financial support of USAID.
