Emergency WASH intervention to support drought-affected populations of Samburu County, Kenya
Because of a lack of access to water combined with high food insecurity and malnutrition as a result of ongoing drought, this 6 month project aims at providing 2,000 school children and 5,000 adults with hygiene awareness and hygiene kits. The objective is to effectively combat waterborne diseases in order to contribute to reducing malnutrition rates by improving hygiene practices and access to safe and clean water for affected beneficiaries in Samburu County.
