Emergency Food Assistance to the Families Affected by Monsoon Floods in Sanghar district, Sindh Province

Heavy monsoons rains that started in August 2011 have led to large floods, particularly in Sindh province where all 23 districts have been affected. In this context, ACTED is operating an immediate intervention to cover most urgent needs in terms of food of 10,000 families (approximately 70,000 individuals) living in the affected district of Sanghar . ACTED will distribute food rations for 3 months to flood-affected families which will include 99 kilograms of food items per family.
