Economic Assistance to Earth-quake Affected Population in West Sumatra

This three-month project aims at providing immediate economic assistance to the most vulnerable earthquake-affected families in West Sumatra to restore livelihoods, facilitate home reconstruction, and restore food, water and access security through community identified interventions. 800 families will directly benefit from this Concern and People in Need-funded project, through Cash-for Work schemes. This project will indirectly reach between 8,000 to 10,000 people whose community buildings will be cleared, livelihoods infrastructures and local economy rehabilitated, and will benefit from the construction of emergency water, sanitation and shelter facilities.
