ACTED gets involved in flood risk mitigation in Bangui

137,000 inhabitants of the capital-city of Bangui will benefit from sensitization activities to the methods of preventing flood-related hazards, as well as to hygiene and sanitation. ACTED indeed sets off a project aiming at helping the populations on the Oubangui River banks to protect from the floods caused by the raining season, which destroy houses, small shops, bridges and damage community infrastructure each year.
