Alliance2015 in 2011
PRAGUE [ACTED News] - In order to improve its joint work, 2012 will see Alliance2015 preparing a new strategy that will guide us from 2013 to 2017. Alliance2015 is a partnership of seven of the main European Non Governmental Organisations (NGO) working in the humanitarian aid and development fields – ACTED, CESVI, Concern Worldwide, Hivos, IBIS, People in Need and Welthungerhilfe. Together, Alliance2015 members want to effectively reduce poverty in the world, one of the Millennium Development Goals defined by the United Nations in 2000, by cooperating at various levels in developing countries as well as on advocacy campaigns to influence public opinion and political decisions in Europe. To do so, Alliance2015 relies on the diversity of its members and their expertise.
