ACTED signs cooperative agreement with Ministry of finance to exchange statistical information

OSH [ACTED News] – On 6 July 2012, a signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding between ACTED and Ministry of Finance was held in Bishkek. It was agreed that both will exchange information between the database on national budget from Ministry of Finance and the REACH Web Map. Ministry of Finance will benefit from statistical and demographic information on Kyrgyzstan that is being collected by ACTED, supported by USAID. This will include data on bazaars, educations, factories, health facilities, irrigated lands, agricultural productions, water and energy sources, populations and others. Also, ACTED will include information with budgetary indicators available at electronic economic map of Ministry of Finance in Kyrgyzstan to the online interactive web interface. REACH will be enlarged with additional budgetary indicators, such as revenues, expenditures and budget allocations per sector and others. This cooperation will strengthen effective data collection and data management between ACTED and Ministry of Finance in Kyrgyzstan.
