99.1 FM: Radio Salam, the voice of Maban, South Sudan

Radio Salam-99.1 FM is a public radio that provides educative messages toward encouraging positive behavioral change, as well as providing entertainment and for general messages on services available for the host and refugee communities in Maban. The Radio Station is based in Gendrassa refugee camp and covers a distance diameter of 45 kilometers with clear reception. Among other topics, Radio Salam broadcasts programmes on sanitation and hygiene, health, gender issues, peace talks and food security and livelihoods. This project is funded by BPRM.
