1,000 beneficiaries receive financial assistance
ABIDJAN [ACTED News] -ACTED Cote d'Ivoire's Economic Recoverty Program team mobilized in January to help beneficiary households receive cash to allow them to face the difficult post-crisis period. Beneficiaries were selected according to extreme socioeconomic vulnerability, and were satisfied with the action. At the end of January, cash transfers aimed at rebuilding income generating activities for 2,000 households, began. Funded by the European Commission Humanitarian Aid Department, the project will help improve the living conditions for a total 27,000 people, thus contributing to the country's recovery efforts.
