CAR: Improving access of humanitarian actors to updated, specific and precise data for a global relevant response

In Central African Republic, most of the results of the existing studies are either too old or quickly obsolete, and reveal the extreme weakness on statistical knowledge concerning all sectors: few data are reliable and specific enough to be useful for a project in particular. A 12-month funding has been granted to ACTED CAR to establish an AME unity in the Vakaga (North-East), whose 4 specialists will produce analysis and cartography when requested by humanitarian actors, the UN and local authorities but also quarterly reports on Water and Sanitation, Health, Food Security and Population Displacement.
