CAR: Improving the living conditions of vulnerable people in the Nana-Gribizi region through road rehabilitation

In coordination with the on-going road rehabilitation project in the Nana-Grebizi region of northern CAR, supported by the European Commission’s Humanitarian Aid Department, ACTED has received the support of WFP to provide warm lunches for project workers throughout the duration of the rehabilitation work. Through the Food for Work approach, WFP distributes rations of beans, corn starch, oil and salt, allowing meals to be prepared for the work teams recruited from villages along the roadway. This meal provides the balanced caloric intake necessary to meet the demands of diffi cult road rehabilitation work.
